Reactions in order of occurrence:
1)”Poor Gerard!”
2) “Gaah! another cliffhanger!”
3) Gwain!
4) Somehow I thought that they would be attacked by pirates, as that was the most likely way for him to leave the ship. And hey, that’s (sorta) what happened in Ben-Hur, right? (another prince betrayed by a friend and sent to die as a galley slave)
BTW, I just re-listened to the interview with Chris Lester recently, and am glad that you decided not to call the grishnards griffiths as you said you originally intended, as last semester I had a professor Griffith, and at a college whose mascot is a Griffin at that. (and nest semester I intend to transfer to another college whose mascot is a lion. . .hmmm)
Curse your sudden but inevitable cliffhangering!
Until next week,
M.
Hey, Maddie. Wow, you got on this episode fast! Good luck with the college merry-go-round. I hope you get what you need and have fun.
wow, I had a dream after this episode about what happened to Gerard.
Gwain took him above deck, into a little life boat that took Gerard to an overly crowded ship. One of a very large fleet. Gwain was gone but there was a very crazy woman, she was quite tall. I don’t remember if she was a particular kind of shelt. But Gerard didn’t want her to see him. There was a guy who helped him and they watched the ravens that were flying over deck. They had black feathers that glimmered purple/pinkish in the setting sun. He told Gerard to watch the tail feathers which glimmered blue.
And all the time I wondered how I ever could have thought that Gerard was a man! Gerard was clearly a woman and that meant that Thessalyn was a lesbian and Silvio hadn’t kissed Gerard as a man.
It was the best dream I had in a while.
Hahah! That’s impressive! Episode 3 may be bland compared to your version.
I’m always proud when I get into people’s dreams…
I figure Silveo was doing Gerard a favor by disappearing Gerard alive without sending him to Morchella. I suspect if Morchella got her hands on him, he would by now be either a zombie or a rug. Which raises the question of what happened to Silveo when Morchlla found out where Gerard ended up.
What I am really wondering about is what was behind Roul being terrified into being less evil, and then getting his brain fried anyways. (I suppose maybe he tried to pull something…) And for that matter who or what D’car is (if this were a SciFi story I would think she acts a lot like a newly constructed android)

Ooo, good guess. Wrong, but close in a way.
Is she an escaped lower priestess?
