Personality and Description
Demitri was a large white tiger, ruthless and cunning.
Biography
Demitri of Alainya was the previous leader of the Filinian Kingdom. He had a small litter of only two cubs, Lexis and another. When he was informed that the King Cheetahs had tried to assasinate Lexis, he banished them from the royal council and wiped them out. During his rise to power, the cats had been steadily encroaching on Canisaria in exchange for mining rights in Filinia. For years his people had been allowed to hunt at will within Canisaria until one day King Malic, ruler of the wolfings, tried to order them out. In 1675, Demitri declared war and invaded Canisaria. Within two years the cats had destroyed Canisaria and sacked the captial, Sardor-de-lor, driving the wolfing refugees into the Endless Wood. In 1698, Demitri invaded the Endless Wood itself and began the Cat Wars. Two years later, in 1700, Demitri died of old age, a rarity among Filinian leaders. His surviving son, Lexis, became king, and the custodian of a great secret.
